Meeting Info

Purpose
The purpose of this meeting is to have round-table discussions with stakeholders on potential ways to implement a graded approach for probabilistic fracture mechanics (PFM) best-practices for regulatory applications. The NRC will briefly present some background for the meeting and its objectives. Following this brief presentation, an open discussion with the participants will take place. The NRC is looking for specific proposals and ideas on how to implement a tiered approach for quality assurance as well as verification and validation, for PFM codes and analyses. Stakeholder presentations are welcome, but we ask that you notify the meeting organizer of plans to present information during the meeting.
