Public Meeting Schedule: Meeting Details

The purpose of this teleconference is to support a public technical discussion with the licensee regarding RAI 05.01-Qualitative Function Categorization (see list of Second Round RAIs, ADAMS Accession No. ML18081B068), before the licensee submits its response. Specifically, this meeting will discuss how the seven qualitative questions from Section 9.2 of Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) 00-04 will be used in the licensee’s 10 CFR 50.69 categorization process to determine the final safety significance of functions/structures, systems, and components and how the licensee’s approach is consistent with the guidance in NEI 00-04, as endorsed by Regulatory Guide 1.201, Revision 1.
