Public Meeting Schedule: Meeting Details

The purpose of this pre-submittal meeting with the NRC staff is to discuss a license amendment request to credit the Point Beach plant high winds PRA. The intent of this submittal would be to modify the station current license basis to credit the Reg Guide 1.200 compliant high winds PRA as basis for eliminating the spectrum of high wind events as a hazard for the plant on the basis that the associated CDF is below NRC criteria. This LAR, once approved would be the basis for resolving recently identified non-conformances with the station’s current license basis.
