Purpose
The purpose of this pre-application meeting, between Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff, is to discuss Entergy's plans to submit a license amendment request (LAR) for Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, Unit 1, associated with measuring reactor power with the power range neutron monitoring system output signals in lieu of turbine first stage pressure output signals.
