Public Meeting Schedule: Meeting Details

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss preliminary draft regulatory guidance for Financial Qualifications Requirements for Reactor Licensing. The preliminary draft regulatory guidance documents are available at ADAMS Accession No. ML17278A260. This meeting will focus on the significant provisions of the preliminary draft regulatory guidance documents. There will be an opportunity for informal questions and answers about the staff’s presentation. This meeting is not intended to be an opportunity for submission of formal comments on the preliminary draft guidance. In the near future, the NRC staff intends to seek Commission approval to publish in the Federal Register a proposed rule titled “Financial Qualifications Requirements for Reactor Licensing.” If the Commission approves the publication of the proposed rule, then the Federal Register notice will provide an opportunity for the public to submit comments. The NRC would provide responses to timely-filed comments on the proposed rule.
