Purpose
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the status of Electric Power Research Institute's research related to 3rd party certification of commercial grade digital equipment. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff and industry will also discuss paths forward on development of the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) 17-06 document which addresses Modernization Plan #3 of the Integrated Action Plan to Modernize Digital Instrumentation & Controls Regulatory Infrastructure.
