Purpose
The meeting will be held to discuss a prohibition on the drilling of new, replacement, and supplemental water wells within an area impacted by the former Bluewater and Homestake Uranium Mills. Representatives from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED), the New Mexico Office of the State Engineer (OSE), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) will be present at the meeting to answer questions.
