Purpose
The purpose of the teleconference is to discuss Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation's (Wolf Creek's) proposed changes to the Wolf Creek Generating Station, Unit 1, Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP). Wolf Creek Generating Station, Unit 1, plans to (1) revise its RERP to standardize response time for the Technical Support Center, Operations Support Center, and Emergency Operating Facility; (2) replace the current full-time licensed practitioner position with on-shift 24/7 first aid responders; (3) reduce the number of required Emergency Response Organization positions through consolidation and elimination; and (4) remove reference to performing dose assessment using containment pressure indication.
