Purpose
The purpose of this teleconference is to discuss Xcel's planned license amendment request (LAR) submittal related to Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant, Units 1 and 2 . The planned license amendment would modify the “Special Lifting Devices Evaluation” contained within the Prairie Island Updated Safety Analysis Report to change the non-destructive examination testing frequency of major load carrying welds and other critical areas on the Special Lifting Devices.
