Purpose
The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff and external stakeholders to exchange information regarding the scope and related costs and benefits associated with the proposed rulemaking regarding 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix H, “Reactor Vessel Material Surveillance Program Requirements.”
This meeting provides an opportunity for the NRC staff to discuss the various options and recommendations that are being considered with regard to the scope of this proposed rulemaking. Further, the meeting will provide an opportunity for the NRC staff to address questions and solicit feedback on the proposed scope, as well as the related costs and benefits associated with this rulemaking action. This feedback will support the staff’s development of the draft regulatory basis and preliminary draft regulatory analysis documents associated with this proposed rule.
