Purpose
The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for external stakeholders and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff to exchange information on the proposed rulemaking action on non-power production or utilization facility license renewal (NPUF rule).
This meeting provides an opportunity for the NRC staff and the public to work directly together to ensure that issues and concerns about the proposed NPUF rule are understood by all parties.
This meeting provides an opportunity for the NRC staff to answer questions and solicit feedback about the proposed rule; however, it is not a forum to negotiate the content of a proposed NPUF rule or any proposed guidance documents.
Attendees are strongly encouraged to read the documents on www.regulations.gov using Docket ID “NRC-2011-0087” prior to the meeting.
