Purpose
To discuss, with NEI and members of industry, the plan to clarify the regulatory requirements contained in Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 40.60 and 10 CFR 70.50 regarding the reporting of unplanned contamination events at fuel cycle facilities. The specific issues related to those requirements were originally identified via the NEI 14-14 Regulatory Issue Resolution Protocol process.
