Purpose
The purpose of the meeting is for OPPD to discuss the status and timeline for submitting the licensing actions necessary to transition FCS from operating to decommissioning, and to solicit feedback and questions from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff. OPPD intends to permanently shut down FCS on October 24 and complete defueling.
