Purpose
A Pre-decisional Enforcement Conference (PEC) will be held to discuss apparent violations involving distribution of watches containing tritium (hydrogen-3) to individuals exempt from regulatory requirements. The specific issues are discussed in the letter dated January 5, 2016, entitled “U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Office of Investigations Report Nos. 1-2014-001 and 1-2015-017, Plus, LLC” [Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML14343A906]. The conference will provide an opportunity for the entity to provide its perspective on the facts and findings, and any other information that it believes the NRC should take into consideration in making an enforcement decision.
