The purpose of this meeting is for NuScale to present their approach to conducting stress analysis on the NuScale design piping systems. The discussion will include: NuScale’s Schedule of completing analyses on each ASME piping system; Which piping systems are necessary to support safe shutdown; How accessibility for inservice inspection is provided; and How the piping design and stress analysis incorporates factors such as stress intensification at piping bends, thermal expansion, and seismic design/supports.
