Purpose
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss preliminary draft proposed
rule language to incorporate by reference Institute of Electrical and
Electronics Engineers Standard (IEEE Std) 603-2009, “IEEE Standard
Criteria for Safety Systems for Nuclear Power Generating Stations” in
Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Section 50.55a.
The language will be available at Agencywide Documents Access and
Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML15204A643 several
days after this meeting notice is posted.
This meeting will focus on the significant provisions of the preliminary
draft proposed rule language in order to ensure that interested
stakeholders and members of the public are aware of the preliminary
