Purpose
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss TVA's license amendment request for WBN
Unit 1 to increase the number of TPBARs allowed to be loaded into the fuel assemblies per cycle. TVA is producing tritium to help maintain the nuclear weapon stockpile as part of an interagency agreement with the Department of Energy to support national security needs. The March 31, 2015, license amendment request is available in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML15098A446. TVA supplemented the application via letters dated May 27 and June 15, 2015 (ADAMS Accession Nos. ML15147A611, and ML15167A359).
