An open Regulatory Conference will be held at Entergy's request to provide Entergy an opportunity to present to the NRC its perspective on the facts and assumptions the NRC used to arrive at, and assess the significance of, the preliminary White finding and associated Apparent Violation documented in NRC Inspection Report 05000293/2015007, dated May 27, 2015 (ML15147A412, EA-15-081).

The finding involved the failure by Entergy staff to identify, evaluated, and correct the condition of the 'A' safety relief valve (SRV) failing to open upon manual actuation during a plant cooldown on February 9, 2013. The failure to take actions to preclude repetition resulted in the 'C' SRV failing to open due to a similar cause following the January 27, 2015, partial loss of offsite power event. This conference will also address whether enforcement action is warranted for the Apparent Violation of NRC requirements associated with the preliminary White finding.
