Public Meeting Schedule: Meeting Details

On March 9, 2012, a Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 2.206 petition was submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requesting that the NRC take enforcement-related action against the James A. Fitzpatrick Nuclear Power Plant (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML12074A032). This petition requested that the NRC suspend power operations at the plant until the requested enforcement actions are taken. The purpose of this meeting is to provide the petitioner with an opportunity to address the NRC Petition Review Board in accordance with Management Directive 8.11, “Review Process for 10 CFR 2.206 Petitions."

This is a Category 3 public meeting, where the public is normally invited to participate in the meeting by providing comments and asking questions throughout the meeting. In this instance, the public will have an opportunity to ask questions pertaining only to the 10 CFR 2.206 processes, after the petitioners complete their presentation.
