Purpose
The University of Missouri Research Reactor Center requested this meeting with NRC staff to provide an overview of the General Atomics (GA) molybdenum-99 project. This project involves a proprietary gaseous extraction technology to be used following the irradiation of targets within the Missouri Research Reactor (MURR) and will likely require a license amendment to MURR reactor operating license.
