Purpose
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Staff's preliminary assessment of the applicability of Fukushima lessons learned to facilities other than operating power reactors. The staff's preliminary assessment can be found at Agencywide Documents Access Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML15042A367. The facilities and licensees included in the assessement are: spent fuel storage installations, fuel facilities, irradiators, low-level waste disposal facilities, radioactive materials users, and decommissioned power reactors and complex material facilities. Note: on March 2, 2015, an assessment of research and test reactors was added to ML15042A367. Updated on March 12, 2015 to include ADAMS link to meeting slides (ML15070A530).
