Purpose
The purpose of the meeting between NRC staff and industry is to discuss various approaches in developing a new Significance Determination Process (SDP) appendix to characterize the safety significance of inspection findings associated with Commission Order EA-12-049; which requires provisions for mitigation strategies for beyond-design-basis external events.
