Generic Safety Issue (GSI)-191 concerns capability of the recirculation mode of the emergency core cooling system during long-term reactor core cooling. The licensee will discuss its plans for tests related to strainer head loss and integrated chemical effects. The licensee plans to provide the NRC staff with an overview of completed testing and plans for future testing, and to receive any NRC comments on the licensee’s plans for the upcoming large scale strainer and integrated chemical effects tank test.
