Public Meeting Schedule: Meeting Details

This meeting between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and members of the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) Emergency Preparedness Decommissioning Task Force is to discuss generic issues related to potential changes to a licensee’s emergency plan, based on the requirements of Section 50.47(b) of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) and Appendix E to Part 50, following a decision to permanently cease operation in accordance with 10 CFR 50.82(a). The meeting will not discuss any specific licensing activities currently under review by the staff.
