Purpose
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will hold a public outreach meeting September 30, 2014, at the Erwin Town Hall in Erwin, TN. The meeting is to provide the local community with insights into NRC’s inspection and oversight activities at the Nuclear Fuel Services (NFS) facility. This meeting will fulfill a commitment made to the public by the Region II Regional Administrator.
After the meeting’s opening, the format will consist of several presentations which describe regulatory activities currently impacting NFS. Following the presentations the public will have an opportunity to ask questions about their specific concerns.
