Purpose
PSEG has requested a pre-submittal meeting with the NRC staff to discuss a planned digital instrumentation and controls license amendment request. PSEG intends to replace the existing analog Power Range Monitor subsystem at Hope Creek Generating Station with the more reliable, microprocessor-based digital General Electric-Hitatchi (GEH) Nuclear Measurement Analysis and Control Power Range Neutron Monitor system.
