Public Meeting Schedule: Meeting Details

The purpose of this meeting is for NuScale personnel to provide a non-proprietary overview of topics to be covered in closed meetings on July 23rd and 24th (topics include overviews of flow induced vibration on reactor vessel internals, In-service Inspection/Testing, Appendix J, and the NuScale ASME piping design) and to update and engage the NRC staff on the status of the NuScale testing program (i.e., the NuScale test facility at Oregon State University). The purpose is also for U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff to provide feedback to NuScale on their presentation and to ask technical questions to enhance NRC staff understanding of the associated design attributes for preparation of the NRC Design Specific Review Standard for NuScale.
