Public Meeting Schedule: Meeting Details

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the filtering strategies rulemaking and Order EA-13-109. An overlapping discussion will be on external water injection (i.e., reliable water injection) after core damage. The filtering strategies rulemaking discussion will focus on the detailed cost estimates provided on May 31, 2014 by the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), assumptions for the boiling water reactors (BWR) with Mark II containments for the development of the probabilistic risk assessment (PRA) event trees and the accident analyses, discussion on the assumptions and preliminary results of the accident analyses, and discussion of performance criteria. The EA-13-109 part of the public meeting will focus on Phase 2 concepts, deliverables, and milestones.
