Purpose
The purpose of this public meeting is for NuScale personnel to update the NRC staff on development of its plan to address principles of human factors engineering in the NuScale design. The purpose is also to provide feedback to NuScale on its presentation and ask technical questions to enhance the NRC’s understanding for preparation of the Design Specific Review Standards. The NuScale staff attending and the meeting agenda are provided below. The NRC has determined, in accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Section 2.390, that a portion of the information discussed during the meeting is proprietary in nature and therefore a portion of the meeting should be closed to the public. At the end of the public portion of the meeting a brief closed meeting will be conducted to discuss any related proprietary issues.
