Public Meeting Schedule: Meeting Details

This is the fourth in a series of meetings to discuss closure of open
items (OIs) contained in the NRCs safety evaluations (SE) for the U.S.
EPR design certification review. The purpose of this meeting is to
discuss the remaining technical review issues in the Final Safety
Evaluation (FSE) that include Chapter 11, “Radioactive Waste Management,” Chapter 12, “Radiation Protection,” Chapter 19, “Probabilistic Risk
Assessment and Severe Accident,” including seismic margin
assessment, but not including digital instrumentation and controls, and
Chapter 20, “Generic Issues,” including issues related to the Fukushima
Task Force recommendations for the AREVA U.S. EPR Design
Certification application. This set of chapters is colloquially known as
“Group C,” in contrast with the previous meetings on October 24 and
November 15, 2013 for Group A, and November 21, 2013 for Group B.
