Dinesh Taneja

Mr. Dinesh Taneja is a Senior Electronics Engineer in the Office of New Reactors of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.  He has been with the agency since September 2006 and has led reviews of the instrumentation and control designs for the ABWR, ESBWR, and the US-APWR reactor technologies.  He is currently participating in development of the Design Specific Review Standards (DSRS) for evaluating the I&C designs of the small modular reactors.  Mr. Taneja has worked in the nuclear industry since 1981.  His various roles and responsibilities included mainly instrumentation & control, electrical and start-up engineering.  He has provided operations and maintenance support to various domestic and international operating nuclear plants.  He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Catholic University of America and is a registered Professional Engineer in state of Maryland.
