Tina Ghosh

Dr. Tina Ghosh has been on the staff of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for 20 years, and is the current NRC member to the Interagency Nuclear Safety Review Board on behalf. Dr. Ghosh is a Senior Reactor Systems Engineer in the Accident Analysis Branch in NRC's Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research, where she has led completion of three uncertainty analyses for the State-of-the-Art Reactor Consequence Analyses project. In her previous positions at the NRC, Dr. Ghosh reviewed severe accident mitigation alternatives analyses and risk-informed license applications in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, and reviewed risk analyses related to the Department of Energy's Yucca Mountain repository application in the Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards. Dr. Ghosh holds a B.S.E. in Civil Engineering and Operations Research from Princeton University, an M.S. in Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering also from MIT.   She is the recipient of a 2016 Arthur S. Flemming award honoring outstanding federal employees.
