Shawn Forrest

Shawn co-leads the artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) program within the Digital Health Center of Excellence of the Center for Devices and Radiological Health at the Food and Drug Administration. He joined the digital health team in 2021 after serving in various capacities as a reviewer and supervisor for premarket reviews, including a variety of AI/ML-enabled devices, in the Division of Cardiovascular Devices for 14 years. He obtained a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering at the University of Utah and a master's degree in biomedical engineering at Vanderbilt University.
