George Wilson

George Wilson is the senior vice president of regulatory affairs for TerraPower. He has more than four decades of government and private-sector experience in the field of nuclear energy. Prior to joining TerraPower, he served as a senior executive in the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), where he oversaw the licensing, oversight and enforcement of nuclear facilities. Before working for the NRC, Wilson served in various capacities for the Tennessee Valley Authority at the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, including operations and maintenance. Wilson started his nuclear career as a member of the United States Navy, where he provided training, operations, and maintenance of the propulsion plant.
