Allison Natcher
Allison Natcher, MPH, is a United States Coast Guard veteran with over ten years of experience in hazardous materials transportation, emergency response operations, port safety and security, contingency planning, and force readiness. She holds a bachelor's degree in History from Whitman College and a master's degree in Public Health with a focus on Environmental Health, from American Military University.
From 2015 to 2017 she worked with the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) Spill Prevention and Response team as an Environmental Program Specialist. Following a move to Anchorage in 2017, she transferred to the Alaska Department of Health as a Health and Social Services Planner. Allison worked with local communities, healthcare facilities, state and federal agencies, and private partners to prepare for and respond to emergencies and disasters impacting the health of Alaskans. During the COVID-19 Response, she served as the Planning Section Chief for the repatriation of 201 United States citizens from Wuhan, China, and as a planning lead for the Critical Infrastructure Branch and the COVID Vaccine Group.
In 2021 Allison returned to ADEC and was appointed as the Alaska State Liaison Officer to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory by Governor Mike Dunleavy on September 27, 2021. In addition to her duties as the State Liaison Officer, she manages inter-agency coordination, conducts public outreach for the ADEC, and serves as the Alaska Regional Response Team Coordinator.
In her off time, Allison enjoys the great outdoors and wilderness of Alaska.
