| REMARKS: | IMC 2515, Appendix C (Special and Infrequently Performed Inspections) has been revised to include the addition of IP 71003. IP 71003 (Post-Approval Site Inspection For License Renewal) is being issued to verify that a licensee, who has been granted a renewed license, has taken the necessary actions to comply with commitments made to NRC during the application process for license renewal. This inspection is to be implemented around the time that the period of extended operation commences. The procedure includes an attachment that lists outstanding commitments for each plant that has been granted a license renewal. The IP will be revised to include updated attachments as the information becomes available. |
