TRAINING: No special training requirements have been identified for any documents issued with this change notice.
REMARKS: IP 83801 (Inspection of Final Surveys at Permanently Shutdown Reactors) has been revised to be consistent with the dose base criteria used in the licensee termination rule and MARSSIM guidance. The pervious guidance was NUREG 5849 which was based on concentration limits. Therefore in order to comply with 10CFR20 subpart E the licensee needs to do a dose analysis and follow MARSSIM guidance and the procedure has made the appropriate changes.
