REMARKS:

IMC 2300 (Yucca Mountain Pre-Operation Inspection Program) is issued to define the "Yucca Mountain Pre-Operation Inspection Program" requirements and provides guidance for inspecting the U.S. Department of Energy's activities regarding the design and construction of a geologic repository for disposal of high-level radioactive waste at Yucca Mountain, Nevada. The purpose of this inspection manual chapter is to ensure that the geologic repository is designed, constructed, and tested in accordance with the applicable regulations and the construction authorization.
