REMARKS: TI 2800/031 (Extremity Exposure Monitoring) is issued. Recently, several extremity exposures exceeded regulatory limits at licensed facilities that handle various type and size sources of radioactive material. This TI directs the inspection of the extremity monitoring programs at similar licensees to determine the effectiveness on their monitoring programs.
