Overview

The NRC’s performance budget for fiscal year (FY) 2010 reflects an increase in the agency’s regulatory activities, driven primarily by interest in construction of new nuclear power facilities, oversight of existing reactors, and materials and waste licensing.  The agency’s performance budget for FY 2010 is $1.07 billion, which represents an increase of $25.6 million over the FY 2009 enacted budget.  The performance budget for FY 2010 is presented in detail in NUREG-1100, Volume 25.
