IN DESIGN CALCULATIONS
INCORRECT CABLE RESISTANCE VALUES WERE USED TO DETERMINE CABLE
TRAY LOADING AND VOLTAGE DROP OF CABLES RATED FOR LESS THAN 5 kV.
SARGENT & LUNDY STANDARD ESA-102 DID NOT CORRECTLY REFLECT
RESISTANCE VALUES FOR TIN-COATED COPPER CONDUCTOR CABLES USED AT
CLINTON. (TIN-COATED CABLES HAVE A HIGHER RESISTANCE THAN
UNCOATED COPPER CABLES.) THE LICENSEE HAS IDENTIFIED THAT
INCORRECT RESISTANCE VALUES WERE USED IN AT LEAST FIVE ELECTRICAL
VOLTAGE CALCULATIONS FOR THE AC AND DC ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION
SYSTEMS.
