Overview

10 CFR Part 2 sets forth the NRC’s procedures governing the conduct of proceedings involving

• Granting, suspending, revoking, amending, or taking other action with respect to any license, construction permit, or application to transfer a license

• Issuing orders and demands for information to persons subject to the Commission's jurisdiction, including licensees and persons not licensed by the Commission

• Imposing civil penalties under section 234 of the Act

• Public rulemaking

Part 2 Rulemakings

The Commission periodically revises Part 2 through rulemaking. For the convenience of the public, a list of Part 2 rulemakings significantly affecting the provisions governing hearing procedures since 2004 are listed below.
