  • Completed rulemakings that have been considered to have an impact on small entities according to Section 610 of the Regulatory Flexibility Act (RFA), including their publication dates and Federal Register citations, and whether those rules must undergo a Section 610 periodic review (they have a significant economic impact on a substantial number of small entities).
  • Links to Unified Agenda entries for Section 610 periodic reviews that have been started and completed.
  • Issued guidance for small entities to aid in complying with rules.
    • The NUREG-1556 series contains information intended to provide program-specific guidance and assist applicants and licensees in preparing applications for materials licenses. In particular, the documents describe the types of information needed to complete NRC's Form 313, "Application for Materials License." The documents describe both the methods acceptable to the NRC license reviewers in implementing the regulations and the techniques used by the reviewers in evaluating the application to determine if the proposed activities are acceptable for licensing purposes.
    • The annual Fee Rule small entity compliance guides assist businesses, organizations, educational institutions, and governmental jurisdictions in determining whether they qualify as small entities by providing the qualifying factors that make up the NRC's definition of "small entity," and the small entity fee listing.
