The NRC's Regional Office in Chicago, Illinois, (Region III) is responsible for carrying out the Agency's duties in Illinois. The NRC's Regional Office in Atlanta, Georgia, (Region II) is responsible for the inspection of the nuclear fuel cycle facility in Illinois.
