NOTE TO EDITORS:

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will meet with the public on Monday, December 14, to discuss the status of the Employee Concerns and Safety Conscious Work Environment Programs at Millstone Station in Waterford, Conn. The NRC staff also will solicit public comment on the proposed closing of the October 24, 1996, order requiring, among other things, third party oversight of the employee concerns program at Millstone.

The meeting will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Wateford Town Hall, 15 Rope Ferry Road.
