NRC ASSIGNS NEW RESIDENT INSPECTOR TO INDIAN POINT 2 PLANT
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Region 1 Office has assigned a new resident inspector to the Indian Point 2 nuclear power plant, in Buchanan, N.Y. Scott Schwind previously worked as a reactor engineer in the Division of Reactor Projects for Region 1, which is headquartered in King of Prussia, Pa.

Each U.S. commercial nuclear power plant has at least two NRC resident inspectors. They serve as the agency's eyes and ears at the facility, conducting regular inspectors, monitoring major work projects and interfacing with plant workers and the public.
