NRC STAFF TO MEET WITH MAINE YANKEE AND THE PUBLIC ON
MAINE YANKEE'S RESTART READINESS PLAN

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will meet with officials of the Maine Yankee Atomic Power Company on Thursday, April 3, at 2:30 p.m., to discuss the company's "restart readiness plan" for its Maine Yankee nuclear plant in Wiscasset. The meeting, which is open to the public for observation only, will be held in the Media Center at the nuclear plant site.

At 7 p.m., the NRC staff will meet with the public in the Wiscasset Middle School. The NRC staff will accept comments from the public on the plan, which was submitted to NRC on March 7. Copies are available in the NRC's local public document room at the Wiscasset Public Library.
