NOTE TO EDITORS -- NEWS MEDIA BRIEFING ON BIG ROCK POINT DECOMMISSIONING PROCESS

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will hold a briefing for the news media on March 3 on the decommissioning regulatory process. It will begin at 3 p.m. in the Big Rock Point Nuclear Power Station Annex.

NRC decommissioning project staff from the NRC Headquarters Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, Rockville, Maryland, will brief news media in preparation for the next day's public meeting on the decommissioning of Big Rock Point. The March 4 public meeting is at 7 p.m. in the Charlevoix Township Hall (Stroud Hall), 12491 Waller Road in Charlevoix.
