Regulatory Issue Summary 2001-13, "10 CFR PART 40 EXEMPTION FOR URANIUM
CONTAINED IN AIRCRAFT COUNTERWEIGHTS," was issued on July 20, 2001.

This summary was issued to all licensees authorized to manufacture
aircraft counterweights containing uranium, and organizations and end
users who may possess such counterweights.  It emphasizes restrictions
applicable to counterweights, and other products containing uranium,
which are exempt from licensing requirements.

Subject: MANAGEMENT CHANGE

Discussion:

On July 23, 2001, Florida Power and Light Company (FPL) announced that
Mr. Bob Hovey will resign his position of Site Vice President of Turkey
Point Nuclear Plant effective August 10, 2001.  He has accepted the
position of Vice President - Nuclear Operations for Exelon Corporation.
Mr. Terry Jones, Turkey Point Plant General Manager, will be acting Site
Vice President beginning August 10, 2001.  He will report to
Mr. Art Stall, Senior Vice President - Nuclear Operations.
