Subject: MANAGEMENT CHANGES

Discussion:

On May 24, 2001, Florida Power and Light (FPL) announced the following
management changes which will become effective June 4, 2001.

Mr. Thomas Plunkett, President of FPL's nuclear division, will retire.
Mr. Art Stall, currently Vice President of Nuclear Engineering, will be
appointed Senior Vice President in charge of all nuclear operations and
will report to Mr. Jim Broadhead, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer,
FPL Group.

Mr. Rajiv Kundalkar, currently Plant Vice President at St. Lucie, will
become Vice President of Nuclear Engineering. Mr. Don Jernigan, currently
Plant General Manager at Turkey Point, will become Plant Vice President
at St. Lucie. Mr. Terry Jones, currently Maintenance Manager at Turkey
Point, will become the Plant General Manager at Turkey Point.
